Reflect on the Birth of Christ!

Since from the beginning of time, the Lord revealed to the Prophets a tiding of great joy for the world; that through his Son we might received Eternal life.
As quoted in the scripture, Isaiah prophecies about the Savior:"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isa9:6
Many of us spend our lives looking for something to hold on to, something that will last. From Mary and Joseph we learn that we need not fear; for every problem, there is a solution. This month of December is the reflection of the Birth of Christ; if we look on the life of our Savior,we will find what we are looking for in this life and the Hope we received through the Atonement.
The Restoration of The Gospel of Jesus Christ gives us  Hope, Joy, Happiness, and Peace we all need to face this life on earth.
Think of Christ and see what he has done for you!
I love the Savior because of His Atonement. And I will look forward in Him to receive remission of mine sins as I strive to keep his Commandments.
I know that He lives and He loves me and you, may our deeds and thoughts be directed Him.

I wish to hear from you all!
Merry Christmas!

I find it quite remarkable when you look at just how much those ancient prophets look forward to regarding the nativity scene we look back on now. Throughout the Book of Mormon and the Old Testament, we can see a remarkable amount of detail into Christ's life before it happened. On my own blog, I made a short list of some more of those prophecies like Isaiah 9:6 (which is one of my favorite verses for Christmas). Christmas Before Christmas
Christ's birth was certainly well heralded in advance. Surely we have reason to look back on it with as much excitement as the prophets who looked forward to it.
